"We are delighted to be joining forces with MREC for our 2012 conference at our new venue in Boston next year" said Laura Couvillon, EnergyOcean International Show Director. "This new venue and partnership are part of many new initiatives we are rolling out that will further distinguish EnergyOcean International as the leading event for offshore renewable energy."

Also announced were two key sponsorships for the 2012 event. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center has secured the event’s highest level Platinum Sponsorship and in addition to their event incorporation, the New England Marine Renewable Energy Center has secured a Bronze Sponsorship.

"Events like the EnergyOcean International will help highlight Massachusetts' leadership in offshore renewable energy and help make clean energy a marquee industry in the Commonwealth, just like IT, life sciences and financial services," said MassCEC Executive Director Patrick Cloney.
