The Wave Energy Centre’s annual event takes place on the 15th of September 2011 at Enotel Lido - Conference Resort & Spa, Madeira Island, Portugal, together with a series of other international events in the scope of our projects. The seminar, entitled Offshore Renewable Energy and its Potential for the Outermost Regions aims to focus on national and international projects in the offshore field, and also present the economical sea use with relevance for ultra-peripheral regions.

The OES is organised under the auspices of the International Energy Agency (IEA) but is functionally and legally autonomous. Views, findings and publications of the OES do not necessarily represent the views or policies of the IEA Secretariat or its individual member countries.
