Project Peer Review

The purpose of the Project Peer Review is to evaluate projects funded by DOE based on their contribution to the mission and goals of the office, to track progress made against stated objectives, and assess the office's overall management and performance.

The 2019 Project Peer Review will include simultaneous tracks across all of the Marine and Hydrokinetics (MHK) and Hydropower Programs' technology areas, including:

  • MHK Foundational and Crosscutting R&D
  • MHK Technology-Specific System Design and Validation
  • Reducing Barriers to MHK Testing
  • MHK Data Sharing and Analysis
  • Technology R&D for Low-Impact Hydropower Growth (HydroNext)
  • Hydropower & Grid Reliability and Resilience
  • Environmental R&D and System Optimization for Hydropower
  • Hydropower Data Sharing and Analysis
  • Program and Corporate Support.
The OES is organised under the auspices of the International Energy Agency (IEA) but is functionally and legally autonomous. Views, findings and publications of the OES do not necessarily represent the views or policies of the IEA Secretariat or its individual member countries.
