Offshore installations worldwide

This web-GIS tool gives an overview over marine renewable energy installations and resources. We recommend to toggle the “Object Identification” mode by clicking on the button in the upper tool bar. Then use the mouse to zoom in and out and pan through the map.

Point at and/or click on any spot or any object on the map to view related information. To learn about advanced functions of the web-GIS tool, read the “how-to document” - or click on the “?” button in the upper toolbar to display the help window.

You can find essential information on the different data layers by clicking on the "i" buttons next to the layer names in the Map Layers Panel (on the left side of the GUI). Then click the "Metadata" tab. Most data sources are publically available except the wave energy data. You will find related info in the metadata as well.

This map is without prejudice to the status of or sovereignty over any territory, to the delimitation of international frontiers and boundaries, and to the name of any territory, city or area.
