The AORES symposium aims to foster collaboration and future growth of the Australian ocean renewable energy sector.
The symposium will be held over 2.5 days at the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre of UWA, and will cover the following themes spanning wave, tidal and offshore wind energy:
Device development and performance optimisation
Extreme conditions and survivability
Moorings and foundations
Control, PTO systems and grid connectivity
Resource assessments and prediction
Environmental impacts
Policy, economics and regulations
The OES is organised under the auspices of the International Energy Agency (IEA) but is functionally and legally autonomous. Views, findings and publications of the OES do not necessarily represent the views or policies of the IEA Secretariat or its individual member countries.
