AWATEA’s 6 th Annual Conference will follow the same format as our successful 2011 event. We will be holding a one-day conference with a trade display again, since it was positively received last year. The conference day will be devoted to a wide-ranging review of national and international marine energy developments.
We will have some international keynote speakers, as we have in previous years. We will also repeat the workshop on active projects in NZ waters, which provides a succinct but detailed review of the ‘headline’ projects operating here. We will follow that with a more interactive workshop, introducing the members of a UK – NZ Marine Energy Mission, sponsored by the British High Commission.
Attendees will have the opportunity for one-onone discussions with UK-based companies, interested in talking with their NZ equivalents.
