ICOE 2016 - International Conference on Ocean Energy

The ICOE is a global marine energy event focused on the industrial development of renewable marine energy.

The International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) is a global marine energy event focused on the industrial development of renewable marine energy. Held every two years, the goal of the conference and exhibition is to share recent experiences from research and demonstration efforts. It aims to accelerate development by stimulating collaboration networks between companies and research and development centres.

The event is delivered by a host organization supported by an international committee of leading ocean energy influencers.

The 6th International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) in 2016 will be held in the UK, in the historical city of Edinburgh, organised and hosted by RenewableUK in partnership with Scottish Renewables.

The Ocean Energy Systems (OES) Poster Award:

ICOE 2016 will continue the award of a cash prize to a poster author selected by an international jury. This award on behalf of the 23 country-member Ocean Energy Systems (OES) is intended to identify an early career individual who we expect to continue to make significant contributions in making industrial ocean energy a reality.
