Join INORE for a week to meet with other early-stage researchers from around the world to share research and foster international collaborations in the fields of offshore renewable energy, including:
● Technology and engineering of offshore renewable devices
● Environmental monitoring and sustainability of marine renewables
● Marine resource assessment
● Policy and human dimensions of renewable energy
This year’s Symposium will be held in the Nantes region, known for its commitment to the marine renewable sector. The accommodation is situated at the Station Biologique de Paimpont (additonal information) in the heart of the mystical Brocéliande’s forest, which is a research centre forming part of the University of Rennes 1.
The Symposium is free to attend including accommodation and sustenance for the week. However, travel expenses (flights, trains, etc.) to reach Nantes will not be covered. It is suggested to fly into Nantes directly, or CDG Paris and then take the TGV train to Nantes. If your application is successful, we’ll send you more details about travel routes.
