International WaTERS Workshop

The International WaTERS Workshop was held on the 5th of September 2025 in Madeira, ahead of the European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC). The event was organised by the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) and supported by OES.
The workshop brought together representatives from 18 test sites across 10 countries — Australia, Canada, China, Ireland, Korea, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the UK, and the USA — creating a unique opportunity to strengthen global collaboration among those working at the frontlines of offshore renewable energy testing and demonstration.
