POET’s annual conference on ocean renewable energy, in partnership with the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition (MECC)

OREC 2026, POET’s annual Ocean Renewable Energy Conference, will take place from 18 to 21 May 2026. The event returns with the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition (MECC) as a partner, following a successful collaboration in 2024.

The conference will bring together leaders, experts and students from across the ocean renewable energy sector, combining industry discussion with the inspiration and innovation showcased through the MECC student competition.
