The theme for OTO’18 has been provisionally set under the wording “Ocean Planet– It’s our home.” The oceans, which cover 70% of the earth’s surface, provide us with a wide variety of gifts including natural resources and energy, and we would like to use the convention to reconsider issues such as natural disasters and environmental concerns from the standpoint of the oceans.
