WavEC Annual seminar 2013: Portugal and Holland: Partners in Offshore Renewable Energy

The conference aims to stimulate a debate about which directions Portugal needs to follow in order to place itself as a world player in the ocean energy sector as a producer of equipment, service provider and facilitator of the development of projects at Portuguese Seas.

Register now! On the 25th of November WavEC Offshore Renewables will have its annual seminar, this year in partnership with the Embassy of the Netherlands. It will take place at the Electricity Museum in Lisbon, Portugal.

The programme has four sections:
- On the first panel conclusions of the OTEO - Offshore Energy Technology Observatory Project and business opportunities in the Offshore Renewable Energy value chain will be presented;
- On the second panel financial support mechanisms will be presented, both public and private and both national or European;
- The third panel aims to show how diverse companies operate, install and maintain equipment and how REN/Ocean Plug position itself towards these companies at the Pilot Zone of S. Pedro de Moel;
- The last panel will focus on technology and innovation.

The event will be held in the English language.
