This presentation outlines the characterization of structural response of two OCAES vessel configurations under operational loading. It provides information on Ocean compressed Air Energy storage, rigid or flexible, rectangular VS cylindrical, design guidelines, cyclic operational loading, modeling results of rectangular configuration, critical values from numerical results, parameter study of wall thickness, parameter study of Width-Height ratio, inclination due to seabed slope and conclusions.
