This report outlines the current progress and breadth of ocean energy technologies by providing a comprehensive listing and description of the different ocean renewable energy systems in development, with emphasis on systems based on waves and tidal currents. The information reported in the 2006 OES publication, "Review and Analysis of Ocean Energy Systems, Development and Supporting Policies", prepared by AEA Technology, was reviewed as part of this work. Appendix A and Appendix B present a summary of various ocean energy technologies which have been compiled using publicly available information during the period of 2007-2008.
