Mission Innovation Champions is a recognition initiative that seeks to celebrate and support innovative individuals who are helping to accelerate the clean energy revolution. This edition of the recognition award closed in late April 2020 and the online launch ceremony took place on Friday 12 June 2020.
Dr Purnima Jalihal has been leading the technology development on ocean energy and more specifically on OTEC. Within OES, she is coordinating the preparation of white paper on OTEC, in collaboration with Japan, China, Republic of Korea, Singapore, France and The Netherlands.
