The objective of this three-days summit was to steer the Observatory’s strategy for the year ahead drawing on the work of the past year, and set key priorities for islands worldwide across the areas of technology, policy and finance. To do this, the stakeholders of the GTI Observatory, the islands’ think tank, defined the main gaps that need to be bridged in the development of ideal green islands and create a document to inform policymakers in the run-up to COP28.
