Webinar series in the offshore energy sector in Nova Scotia

The Offshore Energy Research Association of Nova Scotia (OERA) has launched a webinar series to highlight recent and ongoing research in the offshore energy sector in Nova Scotia.

The series will include such topics as “Finite Element Analysis to Assess Fish Mortality from Interactions with Tidal Turbine Blades”, “Acoustic Assessment of Fish Presence and Vertical Distribution at the FORCE Tidal Turbine Test Site in Minas Passage, Bay of Fundy” and “Measuring the Acoustic Detection Range of Large Whales from Autonomous Platforms to Improve an Acoustic Whale Alert System”:
